WHAT TO EXPECT AS A NEW PATIENT

When you come into our office, everything is designed to answer one question:

Can we help you—and if so, what is the best way to do it?

Unlike many healthcare offices, we don’t guess, and we don’t chase symptoms.

We perform a detailed evaluation of your spine and nervous system to determine:

  • If a problem is present
  • How long it has likely been there
  • What can be done about it

Below is exactly what you can expect as a new patient.

VISIT 1: CONSULTATION, EXAMINATION & X-RAYS

Your first visit is focused on gathering information and determining whether your case is appropriate for care in our office.

During this visit, we will:

  • Review your health history and primary concerns

If we think we can help, we will:

  • Discuss what moving forward looks like, then
  • Perform a detailed spinal and nervous system examination
  • Evaluate posture, muscle balance, and areas of stress
  • Take precise upper cervical digital X-rays

These X-rays allow us to measure the exact position of the top two bones in your neck—the most important area for nervous system function.

The goal of Visit 1:
To determine whether there is interference affecting your nervous system—and whether we can help.

At the end of this visit, no treatment is performed yet.
We must first analyze your results thoroughly.

VISIT 2: REPORT OF FINDINGS & FIRST ADJUSTMENT

Your second visit is one of the most important visits you will have.

During this visit, we will:

  • Review your exam findings and X-rays in detail
  • Show you exactly what we found
  • Explain what can be done about it
  • Answer any questions you may have

We will then perform your first upper cervical correction.

What the adjustment is like:

The correction is very gentle, precise, and specific to your unique misalignment.

It is not a twisting, cracking, or forceful movement. Most patients are surprised by how subtle it is.

After the adjustment:

  • We will re-check your spine and nervous system
  • Then perform post-correction imaging to confirm accuracy
  • You will rest after the correction to allow your body to begin adapting

VISIT 3: CARE PLAN & RECOMMENDATIONS

At your third visit, we will outline a clear plan moving forward.

We will explain:

  • How long it will take to stabilize your spine
  • How often you need to be checked
  • What type of results you can expect
  • The most efficient financial options for your care

Our goal is to create a structured, predictable plan that allows your body to heal over time.

HOW THIS APPROACH IS DIFFERENT

Most healthcare approaches focus on managing symptoms.

Upper Cervical care focuses on something different:
Restoring proper nervous system function.
Your brain controls every function in your body:

  • Movement
  • Balance
  • Digestion
  • Hormones
  • Sleep
  • Immune function

The communication pathway between your brain and body runs through the upper neck.

When this area is irritated or misaligned, it can interfere with that communication.

By correcting that interference, we allow your body to:

  • Function more efficiently
  • Adapt to stress better
  • Begin healing naturally

  • WHAT RESULTS ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE

One of the most important things to understand is this:
Healing does not always happen in a straight line.

During care, it is normal to experience:

    • Good days and bad days
    • Temporary soreness
    • Changes in symptoms
    • Gradual improvement over time
    • This does not mean something is wrong.

It often means your body is adapting and changing.

Our job is to monitor your progress and guide you through that process.

  • WHY WE DON’T ADJUST EVERY VISIT

A common question we hear is:“Why wouldn’t I get adjusted every time I come in?”

    The answer is simple:
You don’t get better from the adjustment itself.
You get better from holding the adjustment.

When your spine stays in the corrected position:

    • Pressure on the nervous system decreases
    • Muscles begin to balance
    • Tissues begin to heal
    • Our goal is not to adjust you more often.

Our goal is to help your body hold the correction longer over time.

  • WHO THIS IS FOR

This approach is ideal for people who:

    • Have chronic or recurring symptoms
    • Feel like they’ve tried many things without lasting results
    • Want to address the cause—not just manage symptoms
    • Are willing to commit to a process, not a quick fix

If you are looking for a fast, temporary solution, this may not be the right fit.

If you are looking for long-term improvement and stability, this approach can be life-changing.
